Gin Lee is the designer and co-founder of GINLEE Studio, an independent fashion label with stores in Israel and Singapore. She is also the mother of a 5-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy.
Gin doesn't design for the perfect body, but for the real body. For her, nothing is more important than the way a person feels in her clothes. She believes in being true to yourself, and her design philosophy is to create clothes that allow women to celebrate her identity and be comfortable in all that she is, flaws and all.

What does being healthy mean to you?
For me, being healthy means having a positive outlook on life. We don't have control over a lot of what happens in life, but we can control how we react to them. It's hard to be healthy when you are upset and stressed most of the time.
What are the things that you value most in life?
My family, pursuing my passion and a peaceful mind.
Lily, founder of sustainable fashion brand, Tallis and a mother of 2 in the Sia Dress
What advice would you give to your 25-year-old self?
Have confidence in yourself. There will always be naysayers but have faith in yourself and your abilities.
Who inspires you the most and why?
I am inspired by people who are positive, even in tough times. Nothing picks me up quite like a good joke. Tamir, my husband who’s young at heart, is one of those people :)
Lila, Montessori preschool educator, Pilates mentor, and mother of 2 in the Yucca Dress
What is the inspiration behind Gin Lee?
The brand was launched to create beautiful, yet comfortable clothes that allow women to express themselves confidently, in a way that's true to them.
We often feel compelled to conform to societal norms of how we should be, look and live. Staying true to myself means to feel good, comfortable, and strong in my own skin. That's what I want women to feel when they wear my designs. So comfortable that they are able to work and dance in them freely!
How do you deal with self-doubt and fear?
I do doubt myself at times, and I'm aware of these negative thoughts. I deal with them by reminding myself of how far I've come along and to have confidence in my own abilities.
CC, portfolio manager at a global asset management fund in the Sing Jumpsuit
What does self-care mean to you, and how do you incorporate it into your daily life?
My family is very important to me, and I love spending time with them. Each day, I make sure that there are a few hours where my family has my full and undivided attention.
What's your advice to women who are exhausted and stressed out?
Haha, just let it go. We only stress ourselves when we try to control everything. Accept that things aren't always going to be the way you want it. It's something that I'm still working on myself ;)
